The classmates in 1996 senior high school year in Mariama College who met 25 years later to create Zaouren Zumuntchi to help support vulnerable children to go to school and stay in school.

Welcome to Zaouren Zumuntchi, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing essential services to those in need. We believe that every individual deserves access to education, clothing, shelter, and food, regardless of their socioeconomic status.
Our mission is to build schools and provide scholarships to children who cannot afford an education. We understand that education is a powerful tool that can change lives and communities, and we are committed to making it accessible to everyone.
In addition to education, we provide clothing and shelter to those who are homeless or living in poverty. We believe that everyone deserves a safe and comfortable place to call home, and we strive to make that a reality for those in need.
Two years ago many children died in Niger because their classrooms caught fire . Classes were made of flammable straws because there aren’t enough classes made of cement. It highlights the importance of building more classrooms in cement versus the one in straw huts that catch fire easily and kill innocent children .
In April 2021 more than twenty preschool children died burn in fire when their classroom in straw huts caught fire. Zaouren Zumuntchi is determined to help build as many classrooms in cement as needed to help save innocent children lived who all what they were asking for is education.

At Zaouren Zumuntchi, we are committed to providing education, clothing, shelter, and scholarships to underprivileged communities. Our non-profit organization believes that every child deserves a chance to learn, grow, and thrive, regardless of their socio-economic status.
